Northeast Yucai Foreign Language School is a Sino-foreign school jointly established in 1998 by Northeast Yucai School and Academy of Kansai Language School in Japan. It is located in No. 1, Gaorong Road, Hunnan District, Shenyang. It covers an area of 45,000 m2 (67.5 mu) and covers a building area of 25600 m2. It has 31 classes of junior and senior middle school, over 1200 students and a total of nearly a hundred Chinese and foreign teachers.

Foreign language characteristics
The characteristics are embodied in two aspects: one is high foreign language level: the students learn English as the first foreign language and also learn a second foreign language, both of which will be qualified for overseas study; the other is the brand new and effective foreign language teaching method: specifically, give full play into the functions of instrumentality, knowledge, culture, and thinking in foreign language education; build three-dimensional curriculum module -- viewing, listening and imitate speaking; listening, speaking, reading and writing; creative writing; adopt foreign language teaching method by encouraging more listening, more speaking, more reading and more application, which conforms to the rules of language learning, featuring in acquisition and practice. In this way, students can obtain an advantage in foreign language, so they are free to choose to participate in domestic college entrance examination or choose to study in English-speaking countries, or in Japan. In either case, they have a strong competitive edge. Those who choose to study in domestic universities can save 20%~40% time from foreign language learning to pursue better development. Those who choose to study in foreign universities can be exempt from time, energy, and high cost in preparatory course.
Boarding School System

North East Yucai Foreign Language School develops and innovates school education from an international perspective, runs the school according to international standard and practice, establishes talent cultivation and course system that combines Chinese and Western education advantages, and strengthens international exchange and cooperation. This school educates and cultivates students to gain international vision and consciousness as well as to acquire multi-cultural understanding and international communicative skills. Our school receives visitors from America, Japan, Singapore and other foreign delegations each year. Some students are qualified for one-year study in Japan with full scholarship and some students are qualified for a short-term educational exchange program in two middle schools of Singapore. These activities enable the students to enhance their foreign language ability and international communicative skills by combining different educational advantages.

Numerous excellent graduates enrolled into top universities in the world
A total of 1359 students graduated from experimental classes of Talent Education during the 10 years from 2008 to 2017. Among them, 682 graduates went to study in Japan; of these 682 students, 246 students were admitted by world top 100 universities, such as University of Tokyo, Kyoto University, Osaka University, which accounted for 36%. Among 1359 graduates over the past years, 290 students went to study in America, 209 students of whom were admitted by world top 100 universities, such as Cornell University, Duke University, Brown University, University of California, Berkeley, University, University of California, Los Angeles, accounting for 72.6%. Among 1359 graduates over the past years, 52 students went to study in Britain, Canada, Australia, France, 1 was admitted to Oxford University, which ranks the 5th in the world and 7 were admitted by world top 100 universities of University of Toronto, University of Sydney ,University of British Columbia. 289 graduates choose to study at home, 66% of whom reached the first batch admission line, and were respectively admitted by Chinese University of Hong Kong, Zhejiang University, Fudan University, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong Baptist University and other universities. Among 1359 graduates during the past 10 years, a total of 463 students were admitted by world top 100 universities, which accounted for 45.2% of those who study abroad and accounted for 35.3% of all graduates.

Outstanding Achievement Enjoys Good Fame At Home And Abroad
The outstanding achievement caused great repercussion at home and abroad. In 2004, Singapore’s Minister of Education, Tharman Shanmugaratnam and his wife; in 2008, Shigefumi Matsuzawa- the governor of Kanagawa prefecture in Japan; in 2011, Yasushi Furukawa-the governor of Saga Prefecture in Japan with other 31 members of prefectural assembly as well as government officials; in 2013, Yūji Kuroiwa- the governor of Kanagawa prefecture in Japan, selected our school as the only school to pay a visit. Many famous universities, such as Kyoto University, Hitotsubashi University, Keio University, Kyushu University in Japan, Purdue University in America, Paris Institute of Political Studies in France, Dublin University in Ireland, have sent representatives to pay a visit on separate occasions. In 2011, Japan Fuji Television Network Incorporation and Japan Nihon Keizai Shimbun have once sent reporters for interview. Our school undertook many large-scale academic symposiums at home and abroad and introduced school-running experience at various domestic and international conferences.
